Senior Manager, Transportation (Logistics)

Salary: $119,250–$204,400 annual

What you will do

• Lead outbound transportation operations across the network, aligning service goals, cost targets, operational priorities, and growth plans.
• Manage transportation budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, productivity initiatives, and cost-saving programs.
• Manage carrier and third-party transportation provider relationships, sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and capacity solutions.
• Define transportation KPIs, scorecards, and business reviews using transportation systems, operational data, and analytics.
• Lead and develop logistics professionals while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, succession planning, and service excellence.
• Coordinate with Store Operations, field leadership, Distribution Centers, Finance, and transportation providers to improve store execution and delivery performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of logistics operations experience across multiple transportation modes.
• 5+ years of experience managing domestic freight and leading logistics teams.
• Proven success driving cost reduction and service improvement initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
