Senior Manager, Transportation

hirify.global is a large baking company with more than 20,000 associates across bakeries, sales centers, offices, and sales routes.

What you will do

• Deploy and optimize transportation programs in partnership with regional teams and global business stakeholders.
• Build relationships with carriers, transportation leaders, Purchasing, Material Analysts, Marketing, and Engineering.
• Lead transportation RFPs and RFQs, including scope development, bid events, carrier evaluation, recommendations, and implementation.
• Manage inbound carrier cost, capacity, service performance, contracts, KPIs, performance reviews, and vendor transitions.
• Oversee the third-party transportation provider responsible for moving raw ingredients, packaging, and displays, including carrier relationships for imports from Mexico.
• Coordinate machinery transfers and international shipments, onboard new carriers, and resolve freight billing discrepancies with Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• At least 7 years of varied experience managing transportation and/or supply chain operations.
• Experience communicating effectively across all organizational levels and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and deliver goals with limited supervision.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or similar business software.
• Ability to travel and visit company facilities, sales centers, and distribution centers.
