Senior Manager Freight Optimization (Supply Chain)

Location: Fairhaven, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $130,060–$165,816 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute data-driven freight optimization strategies to reduce transportation costs and improve service levels.
• Design and optimize transportation networks across multiple modes and regions, including international outbound shipments.
• Negotiate and manage carrier contracts and partnerships.
• Own freight budgets and forecasts, including OPEX and CAPEX, and explain cost variances.
• Lead transportation systems strategy across Manhattan TMS and SAP integrations.
• Partner with supply chain, procurement, operations, and finance while leading a continuous-improvement team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain leadership.
• Experience managing large freight spend and carrier networks.
• Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of TMS platforms; Manhattan is preferred, along with SAP experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and strategic initiatives.
