What you will do

• Design and execute medical strategies for upcoming product launches, identifying unmet needs, data gaps, and critical issues.
• Lead publication strategies, congress presentations, symposia, Medical Advisory Boards, and scientific engagement with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Shape field strategies with global medical directors and local counterparts.
• Provide scientific expertise for lifecycle management, benefit-risk assessments, divestment evaluations, and product pruning.
• Manage complex medical inquiries, label change requests, off-label use cases, and investigator-initiated clinical trial support.
• Lead post-marketing studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams on brand strategy and company priorities.

Requirements

• Physician experience in a hospital environment and senior medical leadership experience in a pharmaceutical company.
• Background in R&D and/or Medical Affairs, including experience as a Medical Science Liaison and Medical Manager or Medical Advisor.
• Clinical trial management experience with strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and health economics.
• Expertise in medical research, development, scientific writing, data interpretation, and therapeutic-area strategy.
• Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP in a medical specialty.
• Native Japanese and strong business-level English required.
