MSL Cardiovascular (Medical Affairs): Leading scientific and medical projects, evidence generation activities, educational programs, clinical trial support, and engagement with cardiovascular experts in Japan with an accent on medical strategy, clinical research, and scientific communication. Focus on building expert relationships, identifying research opportunities, managing advisory boards and medical events, and collaborating with cross-functional and alliance partner teams.

What you will do
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with scientific experts, opinion leaders, and cooperative study groups.
- Communicate scientific value messages, clinical outcomes, and patient benefits with external experts and internal stakeholders.
- Lead medical projects, evidence generation activities, publications, educational programs, advisory boards, expert panels, and medical events.
- Identify research opportunities and support Investigator Sponsored Studies and -sponsored trials.
- Provide field insights and contribute to local medical, product, and brand strategy in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory, Safety, Health Economics, alliance partners, and regional teams.
Requirements
- Degree in life sciences or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or proven industry collaboration in academia.
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or a related field.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and clinical research.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English required.
Nice to have
- Master's degree, PhD, MD, or PharmD.
- Experience with cardiovascular products, medical or scientific study management, or pharmaceutical product development.
- Knowledge of study design, study evaluation, medical writing, expert panels, symposiums, workshops, and KOL management.
- Established network of contacts in the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
- Office work and project management capabilities.
