Postdoctoral Research Associate (Mixed Computational Experimentalist) (Systems Pharmacology)

What you will do

• Conduct interdisciplinary research on drug combinations and combination therapy, with a focus on infectious disease.
• Design, execute, analyze, and interpret quantitative experiments, including high-throughput screens.
• Integrate computational models, experimental biology, and systems biology to elucidate drug-interaction mechanisms.
• Drive an independent research project in systems pharmacology and contribute to high-impact research.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in pharmacology, microbiology, chemical biology, or a related field.
• Experience with quantitative experimental design, execution, analysis, and interpretation.
• Experience using Python, R, and GitHub.
• Strong communication skills and motivation to conduct independent research.
• Must work in person at the main campus in Memphis, Tennessee.

Nice to have

• Experience in biofilm biology, quantitative microscopy, and/or the evolution of antimicrobial resistance.
