Experienced Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer (Industrial Controls)

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance to operations and lead troubleshooting for PLCs, vision systems, robots, servers, and HMIs.
• Lead complex code and program modifications for advanced control systems and ensure system integration.
• Plan and execute change-control projects, equipment and controls qualification, and vendor and site acceptance testing.
• Participate in machine and manufacturing design reviews and analyze capital projects for future development.
• Train and support operations engineers and technicians in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Resolve corrective and preventive actions involving quality, technical, audit, NCR, CAPA, and manufacturing issues while collaborating with safety, quality, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in an empowered team environment.
• Extensive expertise with industrial control systems, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens, and the ability to design and implement new solutions.
• Advanced proficiency with FactoryTalk, Wonderware, AB Studio 5000, Power BI, and Ignition.
• Deep knowledge of Ladder Logic, Python, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram, plus experience modifying industrial control code and designing electrical systems and circuits.

Nice to have

• Experience programming and configuring servos, motion devices, and robotic arms.
• Experience designing and configuring machine-vision inspection jobs.
• Manufacturing operations, production supervision, or frontline leadership experience.
• Vendor experience involving component selection, sourcing, quoting, and procurement.
• Experience in ISO- and FDA-regulated environments.
