What you will do

  • Develop and customize PLC programs from scratch using Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
  • Design and configure HMI interfaces, including face plates, historians, and alarm management.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and costs as the single point of contact for capital projects.
  • Design control system networks and configure variable frequency drive (VFD) and servo systems.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support to clients post-construction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in machine controls or packaging within heavy industrial/manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in Allen-Bradley (RS Logix, Studio 5000) and Siemens SIMATIC STEP 7.
  • Experience with FactoryTalk HMI development and control system network design (Ethernet, ProfiNet).
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA and eligible for a comprehensive U.S. benefits package.
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% for site visits and project commissioning.
  • Minimum two-year degree in an electrical technology field (Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering preferred).

Nice to have

  • Experience configuring and programming Fanuc robotic systems.
  • Previous experience as a control engineering lead for large capital projects.
