Senior Project Manager (ADMS)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; candidates near other hirify.global offices may be considered. Travel to client locations may be required up to 50% or as needed.

Salary: USD $121,305.60–$130,873.60 per year, plus potential participation in an annual discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Own project scope, cost, schedule, risks, and delivery across the full lifecycle of Advanced Distribution Management System implementations.
• Assemble and lead delivery teams, assign responsibilities, monitor outputs, and address resource gaps.
• Manage client, vendor, subcontractor, consultant, and project-personnel relationships and engagements.
• Develop statements of work, workflow plans, project schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, production turnover, and client migration.
• Lead core-team meetings and present project progress, changes, and risks to steering committees and senior executives.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of project management experience in the utility domain.
• Experience leading large-scale, multifaceted enterprise operational technology projects in an electric or gas utility environment.
• Previous experience implementing large ADMS programs; experience deploying GE ADMS systems is expected.
• Strong project management, budgeting, financial, organizational, decision-making, presentation, communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• PMP certification.

• Experience implementing large ADMS programs on the technology vendor side.
