Senior Project Manager (EPC/Solar/Electric Utility)

Location: Remote from anywhere within the United States; office environment with proximity to clients and PDE staff. Occasional temporary relocation to a project area may be required.

Salary: USD 125,008–165,000 per year, depending on experience, education, skills, geography, and other compensable factors. Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Lead large, complex, high-risk projects from proposal development through completion.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams, project coordinators, associate project managers, subcontractors, and distributed resources.
• Develop project execution plans, estimates, risk assessments, procurement strategies, and project cash flows.
• Manage project budgets, profitability, billing, earned value tracking, cost performance, and change orders.
• Develop and maintain resource-loaded and cash-loaded schedules, including construction sequencing and critical milestones.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, client communication, quality control, and safety leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management.
• Required PMP certification and completion of the PDE Senior Project Manager Qualification.
• At least 8 years of related experience; 12 years preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects of significant complexity and breadth.
• Knowledge of project management, project controls, and construction management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, Microsoft Office, and MS Project skills; ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position.
