Construction Project Manager - Foundations - Michels Power, Inc.

Location: Otsego, Minnesota; various project-based locations in the United States. Long-term onsite assignments and travel are required.

Expected salary range: $110,000–$170,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead civil and foundation projects through estimating, bidding, execution, and closeout.
• Manage drilled pier and caisson foundations, spread footings, structural concrete, direct-embed structures, anchor systems, grading, excavation, and access development.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Oversee field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, costs, forecasts, schedules, and productivity metrics.
• Coordinate execution strategies with engineering, estimating, and operations teams.
• Manage client communication and mitigate constructability, geotechnical, and logistical risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in civil, foundation, transmission, or substation work.
• Experience with project management and scheduling software such as Primavera, HCSS, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel and commit to long-term onsite project assignments in the United States.
