Construction Manager (Heavy Civil)

Location: Renton, WA, United States; travel required

Expected salary range: $160,000–$210,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Direct field construction activities and serve as the primary point of contact for owners and their representatives.
• Supervise superintendents, foremen, crews, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Promote HSEQ standards, conduct daily job safety analyses, and address workplace hazards and nonconforming conditions.
• Coordinate schedules, crews, equipment, materials, traffic control, installation methods, and field execution strategies.
• Monitor production, work in progress, invoices, field reports, expenditures, and cost projections to support project profitability.
• Support bidding, change orders, claims mitigation, personnel training, and project submittals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
• General contracting experience on heavy civil projects.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license for the vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Availability for field work in Renton, Washington, and required travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
