Project Manager (Staff – Staff Sr.) (CCGT)

Location: On-site in Moundsville, West Virginia, United States; work may also take place at power plants, construction sites, offices, and other hirify.global locations. Travel is typically 25% or less, with short-duration travel potentially reaching 50%.

Base salary: $137,000–$208,000 per year. The listed compensation range is $136,539.00–$208,565.50.

What you will do

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and manage complex EPC and combined-cycle gas turbine projects.
• Develop and control project plans, schedules, budgets, staffing, costs, and funding allocations.
• Lead safety, risk management, scope control, quality control, project reporting, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate internal teams, plant personnel, customers, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and regulators.
• Lead planning meetings, stakeholder presentations, project updates, and executive-level communications.
• Provide expert guidance, training, accountability, and continuous process improvement across project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, computer science, or a related field with 10 years of qualified experience; equivalent paths include an associate degree with 12 years or a high school diploma/GED with 14 years.
• Expert-level project management experience, including construction safety, scope development and control, cost estimating, construction contracting, project controls, quality control, and risk management.
• PMP certification is required unless waived by the appropriate senior executive.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Experience in utilities, commercial nuclear power, or IT systems is favorable.
• Work may involve hazardous areas, construction sites, unstable surfaces, ladders, and possible radiation exposure within applicable limits.
