Project Manager (Staff – Staff Sr.) | NEW GENERATION (Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO))

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States; on-site. Work may take place at offices, power plants, nuclear facilities, and construction sites, with travel typically up to 25% and occasionally up to 50% for short durations.

Base salary: $136,539–$208,565 per year, depending on grade and experience.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, coordinate, execute, monitor, control, and close complex generation projects and programs.
• Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, staffing, funding allocation, reporting, and project transparency.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and communicate project, outage, schedule, cost, and risk updates to internal and external partners.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, contracting, estimating, construction, startup, suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Promote the safety process, including Zero Harm objectives, and support safe work at power plants and construction sites.
• Provide guidance, training, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, computer science, or a related field with 10 years of qualified experience; alternatively, an associate degree with 12 years or a high school diploma/GED with 14 years.
• Advanced expertise in project management, major construction, project estimating, project controls, project engineering, or comparable production environments.
• Mastery of construction safety, negotiations, scope control, cost estimating, construction contracting, reporting, quality control, and risk management.
• PMP certification is required unless waived by the organization’s SVP or operating company president.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to perform light physical duties, including construction site walkdowns and ladder climbing.
• Experience in utilities, commercial nuclear power, or IT systems is favorable.
