TechOps Training Specialist (EnRoute Automation Programs)

Location: Washington, DC or remote within the United States; US citizenship required. Travel as needed.

Salary: $90,000+ annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Oversee vendor-developed training deliverables for compliance with contractual, technical, and operational requirements.
• Analyze EnRoute Air Traffic Automation Systems to support training oversight and program decisions.
• Provide FAA Technical Operations subject-matter support for SOC Monitoring and Control and Cybersecurity Assessment and Implementation activities.
• Prepare agendas, briefings, action-item trackers, meeting summaries, and other program artifacts.
• Facilitate meetings with FAA stakeholders and contractors, coordinating logistics, invitations, and documentation.
• Coordinate contractual communications related to training activities across FAA offices, operational facilities, and contractor organizations.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance and US citizenship.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 10 years of related experience.
• 10 or more years of experience with EnRoute Air Traffic Automation Systems maintenance, Monitor and Control, or systems engineering.
• Experience supporting FAA programs through technical analysis, contract oversight, and stakeholder coordination.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, operational support concepts, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience developing technical or operational training.
• Familiarity with Instructional Systems Design and the ADDIE process.
• Experience reviewing contractor-developed training products for technical accuracy, completeness, and contractual compliance.
• Experience with DOORS, CORE, or System Architect.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and experience preparing briefings for FAA leadership.
