Sr Trans Ops Support Specialist

Location: Hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, based in the Lombard, Illinois; Kennett Square, Pennsylvania; or Baltimore, Maryland office. Relocation assistance is not available.

Annual salary: $101,600.00–$139,700.00, plus a 15% annual bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver initial and continuing education training for Transmission System Operations employees.
• Design, develop, maintain, and evaluate complex technical training materials using a systematic training approach.
• Maintain procedures, manuals, and guides for normal and emergency transmission system operations.
• Support operator qualification and certification programs, including PJM and NERC requirements.
• Coordinate training drills with Regional Transmission Organizations, internal organizations, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide coaching and guidance to subject-matter-expert adjunct instructors and support the organization’s management model.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field and 4–7 years of related business experience; alternatively, 6–9 years of relevant business experience without a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience as a trainer in adult learning environments.
• Strong written, verbal communication, presentation, observation, evaluation, coaching, and feedback skills.
• Knowledge and use of computer systems and business applications.
• Demonstrated teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work from the Lombard, Kennett Square, or Baltimore office at least three days per week; extended hours may be required during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
