Instructor (Crane, Rigging, Industrial)

Location: Remote within the United States; frequent weekly travel by air for in-person training, typically requiring 3–6 days away from home and occasional overseas assignments. Candidates must live within 2 hours of an international airport and be able to obtain and maintain a passport.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually, plus eligibility for a quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver in-person, instructor-led training at client sites and company training centers.
• Prepare for programs through self-study, master new content, and earn additional instructional sign-offs.
• Communicate with clients to confirm program details and resolve questions before and during delivery.
• Coordinate with sales representatives and other instructors to ensure successful program execution.
• Work flexible hours and travel weekly according to training assignments and delivery schedules.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a construction or industrial environment, plus 5 years directly conducting, managing, or planning crane, rigging, or lifting activities.
• Experience with rigging loads, crane inspection or maintenance, lift planning, lift direction, lift plan review, or lifting safety and risk assessment.
• Must be a United States resident and authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations.
• Must be willing and able to meet frequent travel requirements and be based within 2 hours of an international airport.
• Strong client communication, travel planning, documentation, presentation, self-directed learning, and administrative skills.
• Previous formal training or adult education experience is not required.
