Operations Mgr II

Designs, manufactures, markets, installs, and services electrical connection and protection systems for equipment, buildings, and critical processes.

What you will do

• Lead the process team in achieving safety, service, cost, productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
• Oversee daily production activities, resource planning, work scheduling, and recovery plans.
• Drive lean process improvement through value stream mapping, kaizen events, Gemba boards, and waste reduction.
• Lead cross-functional projects and support new process and product development.
• Manage workforce planning, talent development, performance management, departmental budgets, and employee concerns with HR support.
• Promote hands-on problem-solving, effective communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a lean environment is required.
• Ideally, 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or distribution and 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of process improvement concepts and the ability to adapt to new processes and changing business circumstances.
• Strong communication, presentation, conflict-resolution, relationship-building, organizational, delegation, coaching, and staff-development skills.
• Ability to create and implement plans aligned with the business unit’s strategic vision and drive measurable results.
