IT Program Manager (M&A) (Enterprise IT and ERP): Leading full-lifecycle IT integration for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures with an accent on ERP migrations, infrastructure, security, compliance, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on designing integration strategies, managing vendors and budgets, coordinating global teams, and resolving complex risks through post-close stabilization.

Location: The Woodlands, Texas, United States; willingness to travel to domestic and international Crane or customer locations is required, with up to 25% travel during peak periods.

What you will do

  • Lead full-lifecycle IT integration for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, from due diligence through post-close stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain the M&A IT Integration Playbook aligned with the Crane Tollgate process.
  • Define integration strategies and plans while managing scope, schedules, budgets, tollgate reviews, costs, and controls.
  • Coordinate IT and business workstreams, senior leadership communications, stakeholder engagement, change management, and user adoption.
  • Oversee integration of enterprise systems, infrastructure, applications, and ERP platforms, including SAP, Oracle, and QAD environments.
  • Manage external vendors, identify and mitigate integration risks, drive synergies, and develop KPI dashboards for program visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading IT integration projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, architecture, and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or QAD.
  • Experience managing cross-functional global teams, third-party vendors, remote teams, and matrix organizations.
  • Proven experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies for software development.
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and change-management skills, including engagement with senior executives.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with ERP migrations or carve-outs in M&A contexts.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, Power BI, and collaboration tools.
