Sr Program Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Direct product integration across engineering, manufacturing, test, supply chain, and operations teams.
• Manage integrated product lifecycles through development, production, maintenance, and transition into operations.
• Oversee manufacturing readiness, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and maturation activities.
• Provide engineering direction for off-nominal and discrepant situations to improve manufacturability and maintain production flow.
• Lead vertical integration strategies across multiple products, including progress reporting, recovery planning, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate verification artifacts required to transfer completed vehicles into operational service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, physics, or a related field with engineering or manufacturing coursework.
• 5–7 years of experience designing, developing, or supporting complex engineered products.
• At least 2 years of project management or systems integration experience.
• Experience with logic-linked scheduling, budget and schedule variance tracking, and project status reporting.
• Ability to lead collaborative teams working on fast-paced hardware and flight projects.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Nice to have

• Experience with earned value management, cost account management, risk management, configuration management, or requirements management.
• Knowledge of ERP, MRP, MES, and PLM systems, as well as proposal and basis-of-estimate processes.
• Experience in engineering and production environments, human spaceflight, or high-performance systems.
• EVMS or PMP certification and Lean/Six Sigma training.
