Senior IT Program Manager

Location: Houston, TX; primarily in-office with possible remote work as needed

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-level IT programs supporting upstream operations, corporate systems, and SaaS-based platforms.
• Manage planning, execution, risks, dependencies, delivery, and the full program lifecycle.
• Own budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and executive-level financial reporting.
• Align technology initiatives with business priorities across hirify.global’s business units.
• Coordinate IT, business stakeholders, external vendors, consultants, and SaaS providers.
• Communicate program status, risks, financials, and recommendations to leadership while adapting to changing priorities.

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT program and/or project management experience.
• Extensive oil and gas industry experience.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional IT programs with financial accountability.
• Knowledge of PMI, Agile, and hybrid project and program management approaches.
• Experience managing external vendors and SaaS technology solutions.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with oil and gas software and upstream technology platforms.
• Experience supporting lean or growth-oriented oil and gas organizations.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or other project and program management certification.
