Program Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate and report on key programs with annual revenues of $15M–$50M, serving as the focal point for customer interactions and technical coordination.
• Track program progress, risks, corrective actions, sales, costs, schedules, and customer commitments using program management tools.
• Translate contractual commitments into detailed work plans and lead cross-functional teams through product development, qualification, and new product introduction.
• Lead bids, proposal and RFQ responses, pricing discussions, lead-time requests, and pricing strategy development.
• Manage negotiated changes, remove operational and technical roadblocks, and coordinate solutions across technical and operations teams.
• Prepare revenue forecasts, estimates to complete, customer and market analyses, and reports for S&OP, strategic planning, site management, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; MBA, relevant graduate coursework, and PMP certification are advantageous.
• At least three years of experience in program management, project management, product management, operations, or engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing physical products to tight tolerances, including cross-functional problem solving to improve schedules and quality and reduce costs.
• Experience managing customer interactions, presenting to executives, developing proposals and pricing, interpreting financial models, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, prioritization, leadership, and influencing skills in a matrix environment.
• Full proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; eligible candidates must have qualifying U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residence, or specified U.S. immigration status.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, composite materials, or manufacturing.
• Experience in production, quality, finance, purchasing, contracts, business management, marketing, or sales.
• Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 or DELMIA Apriso experience.
