Financial Analyst III

Location: College Station, Texas; this is not a remote work position.

Salary: $6,251.00–$8,333.33 per month, commensurate with experience.

Texas A&M University System Offices support a statewide higher-education system comprising universities, a health science center, state agencies, and additional campuses.

What you will do

• Coordinate development and maintenance of the System's five-year Capital Plan and prepare materials for Board of Regents approval.
• Monitor authorized capital project costs, funding sources, expenditures, budgets, and funding adequacy.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, variance analyses, and project pro forma financial statements.
• Evaluate projected cash flows, operating assumptions, financing needs, and debt-service capacity.
• Assist with debt-program administration, tax-exempt debt compliance, and debt-financed project documentation.
• Coordinate capital expenditure and deferred-maintenance reporting and maintain project records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related experience.
• Experience with financial modeling and spreadsheet and word-processing software.
• Ability to analyze and summarize financial information, manage confidential or time-sensitive matters, multitask, and work cooperatively.
• Restricted to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents.
• Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation and credential verification.
