Security Specialist III: Contractor Special Security Representative (CSSR) (Deploy Only)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, with extended OCONUS deployments on an approximate 60/60 rotation; U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Support deployed Contractor Special Security Representative teams for Tactical Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities and aircraft.
• Perform document control, physical security, program security, COMSEC, information assurance, personnel security, OPSEC, and force protection duties.
• Safeguard classified information and sensitive assets at forward-deployed locations.
• Support security awareness, training, compliance assessments, working groups, and special projects.
• Work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required by the mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of related experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required SCI or SAP accesses and handle classified information securely.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR 117/NISPOM or applicable SCI/SAP regulations, plus security compliance and best practices.
• Ability to deploy OCONUS for extended periods, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, pass a pre-deployment medical assessment, and maintain a valid passport and international travel visa.
• Strong communication, self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to perform document handling and electronic data entry.

Nice to have

• CSSO/SSO certification and advanced industrial security experience.
• Military or aerospace and defense industry experience.
• Experience with DISS/NISS, SIMS, security information management, access control, visit control, and badge management systems.
• Familiarity with Intelligence Community Directives and COMSEC hand receipt holder or local element responsibilities.
