General Security Operations and Program Security Support (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Support security operations for Air Force directorates by preparing briefing materials and providing technical assistance for meetings and conferences.
• Track security action items, suspense dates, newcomer and security databases, visitor control activities, and clearance requests.
• Maintain DISS access, verify personnel security clearances, process investigation documents, and assist with personnel security paperwork.
• Coordinate security requirements and DD Form 254 specifications for contracts and support classified and controlled unclassified information handling.
• Operate access control systems, verify credentials, issue badges, grant authorized access, and perform facility security checks.
• Analyze security procedures, identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and support information, personnel, industrial, physical, resource, force protection, and anti-terrorism programs.

Requirements

• Active or current Top Secret clearance verifiable in DISS required.
• Current collateral Secret or Top Secret clearance must be maintained where required by DD Form 254, the LOE Matrix, and PWS.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree plus 10 years of related experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years, including 5 years in the DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience with required certifications, including 8 years in the DoD.
• Senior-level candidates need at least 7 years of full-time DoD security experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of full-time security experience.
• Level-1 DSS Security Professional Education Development Program certification, or current equivalent DSS training, is required.
• Must be eligible for additional investigations and program access, including SAP or SCI, and support SIPRNET and JWICS requirements.
