Location: Braintree, Massachusetts, United States; regular in-person meetings with agents and brokers and travel are required.

Annual base salary: $109,300–$180,200, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

  • Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned construction insurance book of business.
  • Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
  • Build relationships with internal partners, agents, and brokers to develop sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Market and sell hirify.global products through regular meetings with external partners, including travel to those meetings.
  • Identify new business opportunities and independently execute agency and regional sales plans.
  • Support training and mentoring for less experienced Account Executives when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least four years of experience in underwriting, claims, operations, risk assessment, actuarial, sales, product, or finance.
  • Six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience, including construction risk or oil and gas experience.
  • Deep knowledge of construction risk or oil and gas products, the regulatory environment, and the local insurance market.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • CPCU designation.
