Surety Senior Account Manager

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage assigned commercial surety client accounts, supporting retention, growth, renewals, and new business marketing.
• Facilitate underwriting submissions, indemnity preparation, approvals, quotes, and communication between clients and carriers.
• Provide technical guidance on surety bond types, coverage forms, client needs, capacity, underwriting, and market conditions.
• Manage the bond cycle, including bonds, riders, continuation certificates, consents, approvals, and delivery.
• Maintain accurate underwriting files, financial information, work-in-progress schedules, and agency management system records.
• Lead client meetings, support proposals, delegate work to Surety Account Representatives, and assist with onboarding new team members.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of experience in a commercial property and casualty insurance agency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of surety coverage, underwriting, and rating concepts.
• Must hold or obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Must hold a Notary License or be willing to obtain one within one year of hire, depending on the office.
• Ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize workflows, and work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Tinubu, Sagitta, or ImageRight is preferred.
