Systems Administrator III (Azure/Fintech)

Location: Los Angeles, California; remote candidates may be considered if residing in a state where hirify.global or one of its subsidiaries has an established physical presence.

Base salary: $96,300–$154,400 annually, plus eligibility for up to 10% annual incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure issues from L1/L2 support teams.
• Design, deploy, secure, and maintain highly available infrastructure across Azure, private cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Intune, JAMF, VMware vSphere, and Citrix Virtual Desktops.
• Implement IAM controls, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, endpoint security, network segmentation, and Zero Trust practices.
• Automate infrastructure through Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell DSC, scripting, and APIs.
• Own backup, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO objectives, monitoring, documentation, compliance coordination, and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive systems administration experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or L3 capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure networking and security, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, RBAC, and Conditional Access.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Citrix Virtual Desktops on Azure, firewalls, Cisco Meraki, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network segmentation.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet, plus PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Type II, SOX IT General Controls, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, ITSM, and ITIL.

Nice to have

• Fintech or financial services experience.
• Salesforce administration fundamentals.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, MS-102, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification.
