Senior System Administrator

TL;DR

Senior System Administrator (Windows/Azure): Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure with an accent on Windows environments, Active Directory, and Azure AD. Focus on monitoring system performance, troubleshooting complex issues, automating processes, and ensuring system reliability and security.

Location: Austin, TX (onsite). Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident. No sponsorship available.

Salary: $85,000 – $90,000

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure including Windows servers, desktops, and cloud platforms.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint administration.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve risks proactively.
• Automate systems, manage monitoring and asset tracking tools, and implement updates/patches.
• Develop documentation, SOPs, and contribute to IT projects and business continuity planning.
• Mentor juniors and recommend technology improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in System Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows servers and operating systems.
• Expertise with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Group Policy.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, remote management tools (e.g., Pulseway), and asset tracking (e.g., AssetSonar).
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident; no sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zoom and Meraki.
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
