Senior System Administrator (Windows/Azure)

Location: Austin, TX; must be a US citizen or permanent resident

Salary: $85,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Manage Windows servers, desktops, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and proactively resolve infrastructure risks.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Manage monitoring, asset tracking, deployment, patching, and integration tools.
• Develop SOPs and documentation, contribute to IT initiatives, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows servers, operating systems, desktops, laptops, and end-user environments.
• Expertise with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Group Policy.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint administration, virtualization using VMware or Hyper-V, and enterprise networking.
• Experience with remote management and monitoring tools such as Pulseway, plus asset tracking systems such as AssetSonar.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zoom, Meraki, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
