Systems Administrator I (Fintech)

Location: Arlington, VA; remote candidates may be considered if they reside in a state where hirify.global or one of its subsidiaries has an established physical presence.

Salary: $64,100–$102,900 annually, plus eligibility for up to 10% annual incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support the rollout of SSO, automated user provisioning, IAM, and RBAC for financial applications and data systems.
• Build and maintain automation for cloud infrastructure, server instances, on-premise networks, and endpoint environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and support the migration of organizational files to OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Enhance UEM and MDM practices to protect sensitive financial data across endpoints.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, incident response procedures, and infrastructure health KPIs.
• Escalate and coordinate resolution of Microsoft 365 and infrastructure SEV1/SEV2 incidents, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, SaaS, PaaS, and cloud environments.
• Experience managing cloud data centers and PC infrastructure in regulated or security-conscious environments.
• MCSE or Enterprise Administrator Expert certification required.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, firewalls, VPNs, zero-trust security, and financial compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or FFIEC.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ or AZ-500 certification.
• Experience with Atlassian products.
• Fintech or financial services compliance experience.
