Senior Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: USA, Texas, Frisco; remote work indicated. Tier 2 support is provided during U.S. hours.

Annual pay range: $74,200–$148,230.

What you will do

• Own technical architecture, reference architectures, platform standards, governance, and design reviews for Alteryx, KNIME, cloud infrastructure, and AI platform services.
• Engineer and administer Alteryx Server, KNIME Server or Business Hub, Windows and Linux servers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design platform integrations, SSO, identity, access control, secrets management, security baselines, certificate lifecycle, and audit logging.
• Build production automation and deployment workflows in Python and PowerShell using infrastructure-as-code, Git, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Manage developer onboarding for OpenAI and Claude APIs, including credentials, quotas, spend controls, documentation, and reference implementations.
• Provide Tier 2 escalation support, lead root-cause analysis, coordinate vendor escalations, document solutions, and mentor engineering associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of systems, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience, including enterprise analytics platform administration, cloud infrastructure, and SSO integrations.
• Strong experience with Alteryx Server, KNIME Server or Business Hub, Windows Server, Linux, Azure or AWS, IAM, RBAC, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, and REST APIs.
• Advanced Python and PowerShell automation skills, including API clients, administrative workflows, data reconciliation, and operational reporting.
• Experience with Git, Terraform or Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, Postman or curl, logging, tracing, TLS, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• English proficiency is required; Tier 2 support must be provided during U.S. hours.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting enterprise AI or LLM platforms and APIs, including OpenAI API, Claude API, ChatGPT Enterprise, or Claude Enterprise.
• Certifications such as Alteryx Server, KNIME Server or Business Hub, Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-305, AWS Solutions Architect, SC-300, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Microsoft 365.
