Senior System Engineer

Location: Hybrid role in Atlanta, Georgia, United States; 6-month contract-to-hire.

Salary: €50,000–€60,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain server and network infrastructure.
• Administer Windows and Linux environments, including virtualization with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Manage cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot storage, backup, and security solutions.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with networking, firewalls, storage, and backup systems.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Atlanta, Georgia.

Nice to have

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
