Launch Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage overall project timing milestones, budgets, launch activities, and exception reporting for new automotive programs.
• Lead plant-level Program Launch Teams and drive cross-functional collaboration toward controlled, measurable launch progress.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, hirify.global plants, Corporate and Regional Program Management, and Product Engineering.
• Organize build events and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure effective participation and coverage.
• Track design and manufacturing process changes and lead their implementation during plant startup.
• Drive cost reduction through negotiation, productivity improvements, and budget control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in program project management or launch management within automotive manufacturing.
• Experience leading new launch programs and working with automotive Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to use problem-solving tools to diagnose and analyze plant launch issues.
• Change control management, budget control, and cost analysis experience.
