Location: Dayton, TN, United States; onsite office environment with up to 25% travel required

What you will do
- Manage new product launch technicians and coordinate the transition from design to implementation at manufacturing sites.
- Ensure APQP and LPDS stage-gate deliverables, launch schedules, materials, quality checks, documentation, and verification trips are completed.
- Represent the voice of the customer and the voice of the plant by identifying and resolving launch risks through DFM, safety reviews, FMEA, PFMEA, and product reviews.
- Coordinate training and documentation, and manage safe-launch protocols, layered process audits, and out-of-box quality audits during initial production runs.
- Drive risk mitigation, escalate serious issues, and ensure gaps are resolved before customer release.
- Establish lessons-learned reviews and continuous improvements to deliver flawless product and program launches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field with 6–8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Supervisory or leadership experience, including responsibility for up to 10 direct reports.
- Strong skills in project planning, estimating, tracking, reporting, change requests, and scope management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities under deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
- Advanced English proficiency and availability for up to 25% travel are required.
Nice to have
- PMP certification.
- Certification as a Project Management Workshop Leader or Problem Solving & Decision Making Workshop Leader.
- Experience with APQP or a similar product development methodology.
- Experience launching quality-focused products in a manufacturing plant environment.
