What you will do

• Study the molecular mechanisms and structures of protein kinases and their cellular regulatory functions.
• Prepare high-quality proteins using bacterial, insect-cell, and mammalian-cell expression systems.
• Support structural studies using NMR, X-ray crystallography, and cryoEM.
• Research multiple kinases, conduct background research, and optimize biochemical and biophysical assays.
• Characterize kinase conformations to investigate regulation, disease-associated mutations, and kinase-mediated biology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific area, or a master’s degree.
• Two years of research experience with a bachelor’s degree; no prior experience required with a master’s degree.
• Working knowledge of experimental design concepts and principles.
• Experience with widely used laboratory techniques.
• Proven performance in an earlier or comparable role.
