What you will do

• Use molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology techniques to study protein localization, dynamics, and function.
• Learn microscopy methods for analyzing cell dynamics in fly and mouse embryos, including confocal microscopy and time-lapse imaging.
• Assist with designing and engineering fly and mouse lines using CRISPR/Cas9.
• Maintain collections of fly and mouse research lines.
• Collaborate with senior scientists, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students on multidisciplinary biomedical research.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of undergraduate research experience.
• Self-motivated, meticulous, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Commitment to joining the lab for at least two years.
• Resume must include GPA and three professional references with contact information, including at least one current or recent Principal Investigator.
