Configuration Analyst III (Aerospace)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; office or hybrid environment required. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Oversee configuration of complex engineering and manufacturing products through PLM systems.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely product data, parts, and bills of materials.
• Audit product configurations and documentation for compliance with customer, company, and industry standards.
• Lead configuration change management, including evaluation, implementation, and tracking of complex changes.
• Collaborate with executive management, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve critical configuration issues.
• Maintain configuration records and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; an advanced relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• 6+ years of configuration management or related experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Expert proficiency with PLM systems and configuration management principles.
• Experience with multidisciplinary design and development teams and Documentation Control Database systems.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
• Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and technical-document interpretation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA, PDM/PLM, and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828, or CMMI.
• Experience with product configuration definition, product structure development, engineering release and control processes, and manufacturing processes.
• Configuration management certification or an advanced degree.
