Service Supervisor - The Province (Facilities Maintenance)

Location: Onsite at The Province in Rochester, New York, United States

Compensation: $30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate, support, and train the property maintenance team while helping supervise operations in the manager’s absence.
• Execute, verify, and close out work orders, coordinate vendors, and support efficient property turn processes.
• Assign and perform preventative maintenance and update preventative maintenance plans for facilities equipment and systems.
• Inspect public areas and resident apartments to maintain property standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
• Coordinate vendor access and services, including snow removal and landscaping, while supporting contracts and vendor relationships.
• Manage inventory, supplies, invoices, key control, and the organization of maintenance and storage areas within budget.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Experience as a maintenance or facilities technician and a strong foundation in maintenance operations.
• Ability to perform work orders consistently while supporting team performance and taking on increased responsibility.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and OSHA requirements for facilities equipment and systems.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred where applicable.
