Apartment Maintenance Technician (Facilities)

Location: Onsite in Garner, NC, USA

Salary: $22.00–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide maintenance support and excellent service to apartment residents and team members.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other building systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other Maintenance Technicians when needed.
• Assist with vendor quality management and move-in/move-out inspections.
• Respond to emergency service requests during on-call shifts and adapt maintenance work to community and seasonal needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work onsite on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks when needed, and on-call shifts at least one week per month.
• Reliable transportation for after-hours emergency service requests.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical activity and move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
