Maintenance Supervisor (Facilities Maintenance)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; on-site property maintenance role. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with weekend, holiday, and after-hours on-call coverage.

Compensation: USD 23–25 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect the property daily, identify hazards and repair opportunities, and complete approved maintenance work.
• Receive, respond to, track, and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform interior and exterior repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, flooring, tiling, doors, furniture, and grounds maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system and equipment failures and maintain machinery, tools, vehicles, golf carts, and janitorial carts.
• Track maintenance supplies and inventory while maintaining clean, safe work areas and following PPE and safety procedures.
• Support center events, room and space setups, signage maintenance, holiday preparation, and emergency coverage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of facilities maintenance experience covering basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work.
• Working knowledge of facility equipment, its usage, and applicable safety procedures.
• Ability to manage time independently, interpret documents and instructions, define problems, collect information, and report to management.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule required, including weekend, holiday, and after-hours on-call coverage.
