Business Analyst

What you will do

• Analyze complex business problems and define automated system solutions.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Lead or participate in process discovery, requirements elicitation, backlog grooming, and stakeholder meetings.
• Document user stories, business requirements, functional designs, help text, reports, and related materials.
• Prepare presentations, negotiate solutions, and communicate application changes.
• Support systems testing, user acceptance testing, and process improvement across multiple brokerage applications.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.
• 2+ years of experience working on Agile or iterative project teams.
• Experience writing user stories, organizing large groups of requirements, and facilitating discovery sessions.
• At least 2 years of experience creating PowerPoint presentations for senior-level managers.
• Experience collaborating with technology, sales channel, operations, and project management teams.
• Ability to support applications used to service brokerage accounts.

Nice to have

• Consulting experience with a professional services organization.
• Experience with check, ACH, or journal processing, or IBM BPM.
• Previous brokerage or financial services experience.
