IT Business Analyst (Business Intelligence)

What you will do

• Analyze business data and build reports for business and Services Group stakeholders.
• Develop SQL queries and data models using SAP Business Objects Universe Design, Tableau Visual Explorer, BEx Analyzer, and Hyperion Intelligence.
• Create dashboards, data visualizations, and standardized reports, ensuring appropriate access and delivery.
• Validate report and dashboard data by tracing it to source systems such as SAP and BW.
• Map source-system data to the data warehouse and reports, communicating requirements to the data modeling team.
• Analyze KPIs, recommend process improvements, administer data warehouse preparation activities, and present findings to management and operations personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience or knowledge in statistical analysis and the ability to apply data to business decisions.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently with large datasets, identify and resolve problems, and combine disparate datasets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of three years of related Business Intelligence experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Business Objects, Oracle Hyperion Intelligence, and Tableau Visual Explorer.
• Knowledge of SQL, Big Data, Balanced Scorecard, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP.
• Business or Marketing minor.
