Configuration Analyst II (Aerospace)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; office or hybrid environment required

What you will do

• Manage complex engineering and manufacturing product configurations through a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Maintain accurate product data, including parts and bills of materials.
• Audit and verify product configurations against customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations.
• Coordinate product structure documentation and support configuration change evaluation, implementation, and tracking.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve configuration issues.
• Maintain configuration records and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 2 years of configuration management or related experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Proficiency with PLM systems and configuration management principles.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication, analytical, and technical-documentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary design and development teams and a basic understanding of documentation control databases.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree and certification in configuration management.
• Experience with Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, ENOVIA, PDM/PLM, CAD tools, and product structure development.
• Knowledge of AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828, or CMMI standards.
• Familiarity with project management, engineering release and control processes, and aerospace manufacturing processes.
