What you will do

• Build new features for a server-side ad insertion product.
• Develop robust, high-performance Java services for live and VOD video streams.
• Optimize end-user video experience and performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Containerize services with Docker and support deployment infrastructure.
• Perform testing and automation and collaborate with the Product Owner to define specifications.
• Contribute across coding, testing, and infrastructure responsibilities.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of software development experience; candidates with less or more experience may be considered.
• Strong Java and Spring experience.
• Experience working onsite in Seattle, WA.
• Experience with cloud technologies, Docker, and containers.
• Ability to build robust services and optimize high-performance systems.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and deployment is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes deployment experience.
• Database experience.
• Video streaming or advertising experience.
