Java Developer (Spring Boot)

Location: Dallas, Texas; may require travel or relocation to unanticipated work locations within the USA

What you will do

• Develop and implement Java and Spring Boot microservices for business logic, data processing, and system integration.
• Design RESTful APIs, data storage and caching solutions, and scalable microservice architectures.
• Build resilient services using horizontal scaling, load balancing, circuit breakers, and fault-tolerance mechanisms.
• Implement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and protected data transmission.
• Work with architects and technical leads to translate user stories and business requirements into technical solutions.
• Handle analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support for complex financial applications in Agile lifecycles.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the offered role or a related software engineering, systems, programming, consulting, or analyst position.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and microservice development.
• Experience with databases, cloud-native technologies, RESTful APIs, testing, and application integration.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to work locations within the USA when required.
