Test Engineering Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic, electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical products, equipment, and systems.
• Fabricate custom mechanical and electrical test fixtures and support machinery, piping, power transmission, equipment upgrades, and new system installations.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, automated test systems, schematics, and data analysis to diagnose failures and process issues.
• Perform advanced repairs on test equipment and production systems, including motors, pumps, drives, valves, controls, and instrumentation.
• Execute and improve preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs while maintaining CMMS records.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams; provide technical guidance and training to other technicians.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, fabrication, equipment repair, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• English reading comprehension and communication skills are required; access to U.S. export-controlled information and ITAR compliance requirements apply.
