What you will do
- Manage testing projects and oversee testing operations.
- Develop testing procedures and standards for equipment and laboratory activities.
- Perform fault isolation, high-level troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
- Coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze and document test results and prepare technical reports and presentations for management.
- Evaluate testing technologies and equipment while maintaining safety, quality, accuracy, and reliability standards.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field and 5+ years of technician or related experience; 7+ years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
- Ability to interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
- Comprehensive understanding of test concepts and techniques.
- Advanced experience with laboratory test, calibration, and measurement equipment.
- Proven project management skills and ability to mentor technicians.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Associate's degree focused on electronics.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 test standards and regulatory compliance.
- Manufacturing experience or aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military background.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
