Corporate Lawyer

Location: Monterrey, Mexico; onsite. Regular travel within the region is required.

What you will do

• Support compliance with Mexico labor reform requirements and oversee specialized service providers, subcontractors, and supplier documentation.
• Coordinate REPSE-related registrations and monitor labor and social security compliance.
• Manage corporate governance, entity compliance, statutory filings, registrations, and recurring regulatory obligations across Mexican entities.
• Prepare and maintain corporate books, powers of attorney, governance documentation, and audit-ready compliance records.
• Coordinate routine matters with outside counsel, manage legal workflows, and help reduce external legal spend.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, EHS, and Security on compliance processes, education, templates, and playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with relevant specialization or postgraduate studies.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial contracts and compliance.
• Experience in a manufacturing, IMMEX, or maquiladora environment.
• Familiarity with REPSE requirements, specialized services, vendor compliance, and STPS inspections.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Strong business counseling, conflict resolution, organization, independence, adaptability, and multitasking skills.
