Modular Manufacturing Corporate Counsel

Location: Houston, Texas, United States (TAS-Cullen HQ). The position is performed primarily on site, with 80%–95% of work at a desk.

What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including modular equipment sales, construction installation, service, procurement, vendor, confidentiality, licensing, and technology agreements.
• Identify contractual risks, support procurement and RFP activities, flow customer requirements down to subcontractors, and train stakeholders on contract management.
• Advise on regulatory compliance covering OSHA and workplace safety, environmental requirements, manufacturing standards, transportation and logistics, import/export controls, and anti-corruption policies.
• Advise Human Resources and management on employment matters and support employee-relations investigations.
• Manage claims and pre-litigation disputes, coordinate outside counsel, support litigation strategy and settlements, maintain litigation reserves, and review insurance coverage with risk management.
• Support corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, corporate policies, and intellectual property management.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 0–5 years of legal experience, preferably combining law firm and in-house practice.
• Experience or interest in commercial contracts, project agreements, manufacturing, construction, industrial services, energy, or engineering.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, negotiation, leadership, and business judgment skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with stakeholders across different levels in a matrix environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modular construction, manufacturing, and industrial operations.
• Experience in data centers, complex project agreements, or strategic corporate transactions.
