TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Lincoln, NE

Salary: $125,000–$165,000

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs.
  • Provide risk-balanced legal advice to sales, procurement, and product teams.
  • Support corporate governance, compliance, and entity maintenance.
  • Assist with M&A, structured finance, and joint venture transactions.
  • Manage outside counsel on specific projects and improve contract lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and security.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school required.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, specifically SaaS or technology agreements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Prior in-house experience at a technology or financial services company.
  • Experience supporting capital markets, structured finance, or M&A transactions.
